including arrival and departure from Split and vice versa.
Meals and
accommodation in Milna are included in the price.
• The headquarters
of the School are situated in Milna on the island of Brac,
with the rooms and moorings of the Sailing
School. Half board is included in price.

are Croatian representatives in Olympic categories with
outstanding sailing experience

Elementary
Sailing Course
The elementary sailing course program consists of the essential
knowledge and skills you can acquire in sailing. During the
course, theoretical skills of the sailing essentials sail
aerodynamics, navigation skills, maneuvering with engine
and sails, weather forecasting, avoiding collisions on sea,
safety on sea, etc. are acquired.
In the practical part of
the course a special attention is paid to the elementary
sailing skills, where attendants in
groups of maximum 5 persons with one instructor have
enough time to gain skills for independent sailing.
The Sailing Course is held aboard a First 7500.

Advanced Sailing
Course
This sailing course represents a higher level
than the elementary course. It is focused on the upgrading
of sailing and seamen's skills while practicing.
The course duration is seven days, i.e. 53 school hours.
This program is especially focused on the maneuvering exercises
during practicing (mooring and unmooring with engine and
sails), working and maneuvering with spinnaker. The methodology
is the same as in the elementary programe, i.e. it is identical
with the methodology of the RYA and ASA programs of the
American sailing associations.

Prior attendance to the Elementary course program is obligatory.

Meeting in Uvala baluni bb in Split at 11.00 a.m. The attendants
will receive hand-books; they will be acquainted with their
instructors and with the placement of the sailing boat in
the same marina.
They will be introduced to the basic terminology; sailing
towards the base in Milna.
Upon the arrival in Milna, on the island of Brac, attendants
will be shown how to put the ship out of commission.
The course attendants will be accommodated in the base;
dinnertime, appointments for Sunday, questions and conversation,
etc

Navigational Sailing
Programme
Navigational Sailing Program has its venue on sailing
boats Nautic racer 12, Beneteau Oceanis 473 or Beneteau
50.
The course attendants are not accommodated
in our base on land but they are staying aboard during
the whole
course.
This program is a continuation and addition to the experience
acquired in the previous two courses. It is held by instructors
with very long skipper and yachting experience. The seven-day-program
totals 250 nautical miles, i.e. approximately 35 nautical
miles a day under the motto: WE SAIL EVEN AT THE TIME
WHEN NOBODY DOES!
Departure: On Saturday (1st day) at 12.00 am: meeting
and getting acquainted in Split; accommodation aboard
the boat moored in the same marina; distribution of sailing
suits, preparations for putting out, revision and division
of
working program for each course attendant with a list
of duties for the duration of the seven-day-program (sorting
out the kitchen and the boat interior, cooking, putting
rigging and
the deck in order, keeping a log, etc.)
The program includes a tour to the following islands:
Brac, Šolta, Hvar, Vis, Lastovo, Korcula and Mljet
with two navigations at night. During these seven days
along with the maritime issues such as an independent
navigational program, nautical
skills, following the weather conditions and out-of-marina
anchoring, the attendants will be acquainted with things
unavoidable
for living on sea such as: doing the dishes with the
limited water consumption, cooking and preparation of
the typical meals: «tinguet», pasta with
tuna, tomato sauce, fish stew (fish stew), etc.
Daily working program is not fixed due to unforeseeable
weather conditions, but course attendants are obliged
to sail 35 nautical miles a day, i.e. one route a day
is foreseen for this course.
The departure to Split is planned on the seventh day
(Friday) by 16.00 pm. After the arrival course attendants
are obliged to put sails and rigging in order and finally
to clean and wash the boat; awarding of diplomas and
casual gifts;
Provisions expenses, mooring in marinas, fuel, and rental
of yachting suits are included in price.
This course program requires obligatory prior attendance
of the ELEMENTARY AND ADVANCED COURSE PROGRAMMES.
Sailing on: Nautic racer 12, Beneteau Oceanis 473 or
Beneteau 50.

Adventure Course
This type of sailing is for all who
want to experience something really special. This program
is designed for
sailing, enjoying and performing only the most necessary
working duties aboard. Navigation with radar and modern
navigational help included.
This program is carried out on the sailing boats Beneteau
50, Oceanis 473 or Nautic racer 12, specially equipped
for such kind of sailing.
