Goli Bosi Design Hostel

Goli Bosi Design Hostel is located in the heart of the old town of Split, within the walls of a roman palace built in 4th century by a Roman emperor Diocletian.

The hostel space itself is designed as a hybrid of a japanese pill hotel and an old european department store, with the story of Split written all over it’s walls, so you get to meet the city you are staying in, because hostel is in the city and city is in the hostel as well. All is yellow. Why? Because sulphur is yellow and Split was famous for it’s sulfurous baths in the old days.

There are 29 rooms in total, ranging from two bedroom top floor suites with a view to a dorm style 8 bed spaces, every with their own shower and hairdryer, clean towels and bed sheets. Once you settle in, grab refreshments on our shady terrace and trade stories with fellow travelers we will help you explore Split to our best knowledge.

For those that like to enjoy the sunsets, waterfront can be seen from the upper floor windows or you’ll have to make three steps to get there.

ROOMS

There are 138 beds divided in 29 rooms, so all you have to do is to choose between 4-bed 6-bed and 8-bed ones. For extra space, be sure to choose either private premium rooms, or small rooms which will make your pocket a bit less lighter.

One thing different than any other hostel you have ever been to is the fact that even in the rooms with many beds you can have a bit of privacy, because each bed is a private capsule separated with a wall and a heavy curtain, containing a light and a power socket for your electric needs. Every room is equipped with bathroom, shower and hair-dryer. You get clean towels and clean bedsheets and a personal locker. We even developed a personal smartphone app that serves as a universal key for your room and locker. Fun!

Within the hostel, there is De Belly restaurant. You can’t miss it, you can see it from the door. You can’t even miss it in the dark, because it smells great.

All the dishes are made from fresh ingredients, and our experienced chef takes great care of all the fabulous food and you can watch him in action. We look after the prices, so you don’t have to — we prepare delicious dishes for all wallet sizes.
