Meeting point: Gracac, 8:00 am. After a slow drive we get to the foot of the summit of southern Velebit. We take over the equipment and climb for 30 minutes through the mountain forest to the climbers’ lodging. After a short break for sightseeing and getting acquainted with safety measures we start on the hiking route. The route consists of a walk through the forest, hiking up the rocks, moving along via ferrata on a rope, abseiling along a rock, descent into a cave. Dependent on your ambitions, fitness and available time we climb one of the nearby summits. After a break and refreshment in an indescribable ambience we descend through the forest to our vehicle and back to Obrovac. Duration of the route: 6 – 8 hours.

Southern Velebit - slightly separated from the rest of the mountain, but of captivating beauty and wilderness. It is made of a range of smaller and larger, sometimes lined up and sometimes scattered, snow-white ridges of various forms, such as cliffs, towers, turrets, doors, cliffs, domes, chests, obelisks, fireplaces, tables, bridges and cones, furrowed by various grooves and mutually separated by countless cracks, rifts, deep clefts.

• In case that an insufficient number of participants apply for the tour at the latest 5 days prior to the beginning of the package tour the travel agency is obliged to inform the participants on cancellation of the programme.
