1. Truffle weekend in Istria

1st day – arrival to Buzet the' city of truffles'. Accomodation in Hotel Fontana.

Dinner in hotel’s restaurant: dishes with truffles and other Istrian specialties with exquisite Istrian wines.

2nd day – after the breakfast we are visiting a nearby village where you will have the oportunitiy to meet a family which are professional truffle hunters.

Presentation of special trained dogs for truffle hunting and various truffle products tasting.
Departure to the forest with hunting dogs. Motovun forest is the real treasure where the precious Istrian gold - the truffle, is hidden. You will be able to experience the truffle hunting on your own there.

2. Glagolitic Istria

1st day – arrival to buzet. Accomodation in hotel Fontana.

Romantic dinner in the hotel restaurant. Dinner includes truffle specialties and exquisite Istrian wine as well as other Istrian dishes.

2nd day – after the breakfast we are taking you through the Glagolitic Alley to Hum - the smallest town in the world.

Accompanied with an expert guide we will visit st. Jeremias church, Polača (the town hall), the town Loggia and we will have a real treat – the tasting of Hum’s biska. Biska is a spirit with mistletoe whose original recipe is enshrined by the citizens of Hum.

Departure to an abandoned village – Kotli, once famous by the watermills and today by little cascades and waterfalls which make the armlet of the longest river in Istria – Mirna.
Lunch in an Istrian tavern

After the lunch we will head towards Roč. Roč is a small medievall townlet well-known for Glagolitic alphabet, small Glagolitic academy, international meeting of old Diatonic Accordion (Triestina) players, and for the Glagolitic printing machine. We will visit the townlet and get acquainted with some of its particularities where almost every inhabitant sings or plays an instrument. We will visit the Glagolitic printing machine and a family museum of local antiquities.

3rd day - after the breakfast we have an accompanied visit of the old town of Buzet with the expert local guide. After the visit we are going to have a degustation of the top-quality extra-vergine olive oil that was many times awarded and that is produced near Buzet. We will get acquainted with the ways of harvesting the olives, production of olive oil and the accurate way of olive-oil tasting.

3. Fresco Painting Workshop in Roč

After your guide magically takes you several centuries back to the past and get you acquainted with istrian frescoes, you`ll have an exceptional occasion to try your skills in frescoe creating. In the unique atelier of that kind in Croatia, the fresco you paint with the artist`s help, you may take home as a precious souvenir.
